Looking at my calendar over there on the right, it looks like I have fallen into a posting every other day habit here, I will try to fit in a few more posts here and there when I have something that adds value. Whether or not any of my ramblings on here can be considered valuable is another argument all together, haha.
I had a GREAT workout yesterday doing the circuit training , sculpt 3-4 power 90 workout. For the third workout in a row, I beat my reps or upped my weight on every single exercise from the day before. I am KILLING the resistance workouts. That being said, as great as things are going in that regard, the cardio part of my routine still struggles. I am still doing the first level cardio workouts, which they call Sweat 1-2. I still cannot make it through 100 percent of the workout without hitting pause, or having to take a break. The key is I guess that I just keep pushing play and giving it my all.
Eats as always remains the biggest part of things when I dial it in and start to work to improving my health but that is running smoother with each passing days. My wife is eating the DASH way now as well to support me, and simplify cooking (of which she does 90 percent) and even my 16 year old daughter has decided to try the eating plan. I am still working on drinking more water, and have cut way back /nearly cut out coffee. I feel coffee is fine if you drink it black, but i put cream and sugar in it and I have made a conscience effort to get the sugar out of my diet.
I had my weigh in yesterday, I am trying to keep my weighins to once a week, on Mondays and I didn’t get under 230 as I had hoped, but I did get to 230.9. This is exactly 20 lbs down from the 250.9 lbs I saw on July 30th. Happy with that. A long ways to go, but I am on the right track, and I don’t plan on slowing down any time soon. I can only control two things, what i put in my mouth, and how much I move my butt. If i control those two things, the weight will take care of itself.
