P90x day 1 is in the books

I completed day 1 tonight of P90x and it thoroughly kicked my butt. Day 1 consists of Chest and arms, along with ab ripper x. I took Horton’s often quoted advise “if do your best and forget the rest”. I felt nauseous when I was done and I was happy with my efforts.

Eats went ok today. I rejoined weight watchers this am, and as I have been saying I am going to try a few months of WW online. I am doing it to change things up a little, I went 8 weeks straight of meetings and was within the same 4-5 lbs. I do like the weight watchers program and I think it can work for me, but the meetings are very expensive, and I can use the 3 months for the price of one. I will reevaluate at the end of three months, to continue online, move back to meetings, or move onto another program. I will give it all I can over the next 3 months, and give myself the best chance to succeed.

As you can see from my tracker below, I did have a piece of my 40th bday cake from yesterday. It was a big chunk of my points, but I literally eat cake once a year on my birthday, so no big deal. I stayed within my daily points by 1. I have to bring more food to work to be able to spread my intake out a little, and as always have to work on the water intake.

Tomorrow is the Plyo workout, one that I have the most trouble with (besides yoga) in my other forrays into P90x. I have a feeling I am going to be pretty sore tomorrow, but it feels good to be back “on plan”. Am exhausted, off to bed.
